Full Workstream

Dedicated platform engineering capacity for teams building or stabilizing infrastructure. I embed with your team during business hours to ship CI/CD pipelines, Kubernetes deployments, observability stacks, and reliability improvements.

What You Get

Full-time engineering capacity focused on your platform and infrastructure needs. I work EST business hours, attend standups and planning sessions, and operate as a member of your team rather than an external consultant dropping in for status meetings.

Good Fit For

  • CI/CD pipeline design and implementation
  • Kubernetes cluster setup, migration, or stabilization
  • Infrastructure-as-code buildout (Terraform, Pulumi, CloudFormation)
  • Observability and monitoring (metrics, logs, traces, alerting)
  • Incident response process improvements
  • Cloud architecture reviews and cost optimization
  • Legacy application containerization and migration

How It Works

We start with a kickoff to assess your current state, identify priorities, and establish communication patterns. From there, I pick up work from your backlog or drive initiatives we scope together. You get steady progress without the overhead of hiring, onboarding, and managing a full-time employee.

Pricing

$19,500 per month. No long-term commitment required—engagements run month-to-month with 30 days notice to wind down.

Contact us about Continuous Workstream

Continuous Workstream

Steady platform engineering progress without full-time commitment. I work evenings EST on your infrastructure backlog—CI/CD improvements, IaC refactors, monitoring gaps, and the reliability work that keeps slipping.

What You Get

Consistent engineering capacity at roughly half the intensity of a full workstream. Work happens weekday evenings (EST), which means your full-time team gets uninterrupted focus during business hours while infrastructure improvements still move forward.

Good Fit For

  • Ongoing platform maintenance and incremental improvements
  • CI/CD pipeline hardening and optimization
  • Infrastructure-as-code cleanup and documentation
  • Monitoring and alerting gap coverage
  • Technical debt reduction on infrastructure tooling
  • Long-running migrations that don’t need dedicated attention

How It Works

We establish a backlog of infrastructure work and I pull from it consistently. You get predictable progress on your roadmap without hard deadlines or sprint pressure. Communication happens async with periodic syncs as needed.

This engagement complements your existing team rather than replacing capacity. It’s particularly useful when you have platform work that matters but can’t justify pulling developers off product features.

Pricing

$9,500 per month. Month-to-month engagement with 30 days notice to wind down.

Contact us about Solutions Services

Solutions Services

Bounded infrastructure projects with clear deliverables. Architecture reviews, security audits, migration plans, and documentation—scoped work that ships on a predictable timeline.

What You Get

Focused engagements for infrastructure work that has a clear start and end. Unlike ongoing workstreams, these are deliverable-driven: you get a specific output (an architecture document, a migration plan, a security assessment) rather than continuous capacity.

Good Fit For

  • Infrastructure architecture review with recommendations
  • CI/CD pipeline audit and improvement roadmap
  • Kubernetes migration planning and proof-of-concept
  • Cloud cost analysis and optimization report
  • Disaster recovery documentation and runbook creation
  • Security posture assessment for infrastructure
  • Technical due diligence for acquisitions

How It Works

We scope the work together, agree on deliverables and timeline, and I execute independently. These engagements don’t require daily standups or real-time collaboration—you get async updates and the finished deliverable.

Work typically happens outside business hours, which means it won’t conflict with your team’s regular development flow.

Pricing

Priced per engagement based on scope. Most projects fall between $800 (half-day) and $1,600 (full-day) worth of effort, with larger assessments quoted individually. Contact me with your specific need for a fixed-price estimate.

Contact us about On-Call Support

On-Call Support

Infrastructure expertise when incidents happen. I join your on-call rotation for after-hours coverage, bringing platform engineering experience to incident response, triage, and resolution.

What You Get

An experienced platform engineer in your on-call rotation. When alerts fire, I respond with the context to triage infrastructure issues quickly—whether it’s Kubernetes pod failures, database connection exhaustion, CI/CD pipeline breaks, or cloud service degradation.

Good Fit For

  • Your team lacks infrastructure depth for after-hours incidents
  • On-call burden is burning out your developers
  • You need coverage during vacations or team transitions
  • Incidents require skills your current team is still building

How It Works

Onboarding: We start with a paid onboarding session to review your architecture, runbooks, monitoring setup, and escalation paths. I need enough context to be effective when paged at 2 AM.

On-Call Coverage: I carry the pager for agreed-upon periods (nights, weekends, or specific rotation slots). Response time and escalation procedures match your existing SLAs.

Incident Response: When paged, I triage, mitigate, and document. Post-incident, you get a writeup of what happened and what to fix.

Pricing

Onboarding: $500 one-time setup fee

Retainer: $1,500 per week for on-call availability

Active Response: $150 per hour when responding to incidents (1-hour minimum per incident)
